cucumber
Cucumber supply is steady with availability on both coasts now. The Nogales cucumber crop is winding down, but there are still a few growers with availability remaining. Baja west-coast cukes are moving steadily with good volume. East-coast supply is increasing as Georgia starts to have some light availability this week.
. See Cucumber availability.
orange
Mexican supply is decreasing on both conventional and organic Valencias loading out of Nogales, AZ. The organic season will end completely by the second week of June, while the conventional season will last through late June. California Valencias are just getting started so volume is still ramping. Choice and juice grade fruit is especially limited right now. Some organic growers have delayed harvests to let the fruit ripen and color further. You can expect the volume of juice fruit to be more plentiful towards the middle of June. See Orange availability.
cabbage
Growers are reporting tight supply and higher prices on both organic and conventional green cabbage. Some growers are barely able to cover their contracted volume. It's been unseasonably cool this Spring in Salinas, resulting in slow growth, harvesting delays, and mostly small to medium size product. The common defects right now are internal Burn (browning) and seeder. The supply on both Green and Napa cabbage is expected to remain tight in the short term while the growers wait for the head sizes to increase. The Salinas season should last through mid-November, so please reach out to sales@fullharvest.com about any late summer cabbage needs to lock in pricing and volumes now.

Cauliflower
Cauliflower markets are active and expected to remain strong. Quality is fair causing available supplies to lighten up and higher pricing. Expect price and supply to improve as more acreage becomes available. You can find organic product loading out of Salinas, CA on the Marketplace now. See Cauliflower availability.
CARROT
Demand remains high for all types of carrots - Conventional and Organic, product from the US & Mexico. Mexico's supply is conventional and crosses through McAllen, TX. We recommend getting in touch with sales to pre-book orders ~4 weeks in advance, especially for organic product. See Carrot availability.
pineapple
The pineapple market is steady this week for supply, demand, and quality. Sizes are peaking on the larger fruit. You can find conventional, crownless, Costa Rican product on the Marketplace now. See Pineapple availability.

Melons (Cantaloupe, honeydew & watermelon)
Cantaloupe and Honeydew prices are trending down as volume increases. Central American imports loading out of Florida will continue for the next 2 weeks and supply out of Nogales is picking up. The Imperial Valley, California region is getting started as well. Watermelon supply is steady out of Florida and Mexico with good quality. See Melon availability.
lemon
Growers are reporting steady supply and demand of conventional and organic lemons in California. You can expect organic supply to remain steady through May and conventional through late June. There will be a gap in the summer from July to September, so we recommend stocking up on volume now to ensure you are covered. Mexico ramps up in late August and California will be back with a strong supply towards the end of October. The market during the summer gap will rely on imports from Chile and South Africa, but this product is primarily in cartons and fancy/choice grade. There is very limited juice grade coming from overseas. See Lemon availability.
CUCUMBER
East-coast cucumber supply is steady, with Georgia getting started this week. In Nogales, the spring crop is strong with solid availability and good quality. The Baja region continues to grow in volume as more growers come online. See Cucumber availability.

OrANGE
This week, the orange market is mostly steady, with good supplies on larger fancy grade fruit and tighter supplies on smaller choice fruit. In addition, Valencias are becoming readily available and being used to fill in on the minor size shortages. See Orange availability.
LIME
Prices continue to decrease on Conventional Limes out of Mexico. Pricing is lowest on the smaller fruit, but larger fruit is also dropping. We expect this to continue over the next couple of weeks. Please get in touch for any FTL volume needs. We anticipate needing a 5-10 day lead time. Pricing and availability are subject to change daily. See Lime availability.
CARROT
Carrot supplies remain tight, especially for organic and conventional processed supplies at this time like coins, chunks, sticks, etc. Whole carrots are more readily available. Overall, the market remains challenging, especially for FTL orders. Please check the Marketplace and reach out to your Full Harvest rep for the most up-to-date quotes and availability. See Carrot availability.

LEMON
Lemon supply is expected to remain strong for another six weeks or so before starting to reduce. You can expect a gap in supply from the end of June through July. We recommend purchasing now if you have the ability to buy in bulk while prices are good and then freeze to last you through the gap. The Mexican season will get started at the end of July or early August. Reach out to your rep now if you are interested in locking in contract pricing for the Fall. See Lemon availability.
ORANGE
California Navels are finishing up now and will transition to Valencias over the next few weeks. Valencias will then be available out of Mexico and California for about a month. Mexican organic Valencias will end the first week of June, while conventional will be available through the last week of June. See Orange availability.
GINGER
The ginger market is still tight as we are in the low season with limited availability. You can expect availability to pick up in July. Out of Miami, supplies are tightening as less product has been shipped out of Peru, and prices are expected to rise. There is Mexican product available on The Marketplace, but it will need about a 7-day lead time. There is also product from Peru available, organic and conventional, that requires at least a 3-week lead time for large volumes. See Ginger availability.

Broccoli
Broccoli supplies remain steady with good availability coming out of multiple growing regions. Salinas and Oxnard, California are the primary pull locations at this time. Organic Broccoli out of Salinas began in April. Supplies have been strong after a smooth transition, and quality has been excellent. See Broccoli availability.
Carrot
Demand remains high on all types of carrots - conventional and organic, out of the US and Mexico. Mexican supply is mostly conventional and loading out of McAllen, TX. Supply has been light, however, due to delays at the Texas border crossings. Organic availability out of California remains light as demand outweighs supply. We expect supplies to increase in May as more supply comes online. See Carrot availability.
LEMON
Growers are reporting steady supply and demand of conventional and organic lemons in California. Organic volumes are expected to remain steady through May, and conventional through July. You can expect a gap between July and September when Mexico ramps up, so we recommend buyers stock up on lemons now to be covered during the gap while supply is strong out of CA. Sizes are peaking on the larger side due to fruit hanging on the trees longer while the market was low with light demand earlier in the season. See Lemon availability.

Celery
Celery availability is strong out of Oxnard and Santa Maria, with supplies exceeding demand at this time. Production in Yuma has finished, but suppliers continue to transfer products to the Salinas area for a transfer fee if needed. The celery quality is above average, even with the high temperatures. Expect good supplies to continue throughout this week. See Celery availability.
Orange
There is a steady supply of Mexican Valencias loading in Nogales, AZ. The Organic season was initially estimated to end in April but is likely going through mid-May. The Conventional season will last until late June. The California Valencia season will ramp up at the end of this month and will last through the early Fall. California navel supplies are limited at this time as many growers wrap up their season. If you need Navels, we recommend getting orders placed ASAP before pricing continues to rise and supplies become even more limited. See Orange availability.
Turmeric
Turmeric availability out of Mexico is steady at this time. However, Hawaiian Turmeric supplies are limited with higher pricing as we are in the planting season, and there is less labor available for harvesting product. You can find organic Turmeric from Fiji and Hawaii posted on The Marketplace now; be aware that there is a 7-day lead time required for the Fijian product. See Turmeric availability.

lemon
The lemon market is steady this week with availability out of District 2 (Oxnard/Riverside, CA) and District 1 (Desert Region). Supply is expected to remain steady. See Lemon availability.

CARROT
We are seeing high demand on all types of carrots - organic and conventional out of the US and Canada. Supply out of Mexico is mostly conventional, and it has been light due to an unusually wet winter. We expect Mexican supply to increase as the season ramps up in April. Organic supply should improve in May when additional supply comes online as the California growing region transitions. See Carrot availability.
GINGER
Ginger supply is still tight across the board as we are in the low season for availability. Supplies should increase in July. You can expect availability out of Miami to tighten even more as less product has been shipped out of Peru and prices are expected to rise. Lead time is on the higher side to aggregate full truck load quantities. See Ginger availability.
ORANGE
Demand and pricing have strengthened this week on both conventional and organic Valencias out of Mexico. Harvests and packing are back to a regular schedule, resulting in steady supply. The organic season was originally estimated to end in April, but is now likely going through mid-May. The Conventional season will last until late June. You can expect California Valencias to start in mid-May or June and run through Sept. or Oct. See Orange availability.

CAULIFLOWER
Cauliflower supplies continue to be limited. The cooler weather has slowed growth in the Yuma area. Organic Cauliflower is experiencing inconsistent production, which is creating limited supply and price increases expected to last for the remainder of the month. Supplies are expected to remain limited until the new northern crop production ramps up in April. See Cauliflower availability.
LETTUCE
Markets are extremely light for all leafy greens like iceberg and romaine at this time. The growing region is transitioning from Arizona to California, and you can expect markets to remain volatile for the next 2-3 weeks as the new region gets going. See Lettuce availability.
ORANGE
California Navels will likely wrap up early this year in June, following the season last year lasting through mid-August. Typically, we see shorter seasons following longer ones due to the trees being tired and not having the energy to produce as much fruit. Demand remains steady across US Markets. See Orange availability.

CABBAGE
Growers are reporting steady to lighter supplies of red and green cabbage as we get past the increased demand on St. Patrick’s Day. You can expect a small gap between the desert volume winding down at the end of March and northern Salinas supply coming online in April. For Napa Cabbage, Yuma growers are reporting heavy supplies for now. Napa will transition to Salinas starting at the beginning of April with moderate supply and lighter weights expected then. You can expect supply on all cabbages to start to lighten up at the end of March due to the transition from Yuma to Salinas. The Salinas season will go through mid-November. See Cabbage availability.
CARROT
Demand is still high on all types of organic and conventional carrots. Mexico's supply is primarily conventional, crossing through McAllen, TX. With the Canadian season over, demand for Mexican product is higher. Supply should remain light until the season ramps up in April. We expect organic carrots to remain tight until May when more suppliers come back online. See Carrot availability.
ORANGE
Mexican Valencia supply is steady for fancy and juice fruit, with limited choice grade available. The season was originally estimated to end in April, but is now likely going through mid-May. Peak sizes are 72/88ct with a limited volume of 113/138ct available. California Valencias will start in mid-May/June and run through Sept./Oct. California Navel supply out of the central valley & southern coastal regions is steady now but will start winding down as we head into April. Demand for Organic Navels has diminished in the last two weeks, causing growers to slow their harvests. We expect the season to last through April. See Orange availability.

celery
Celery availability is tight at this time, especially for value-added product like sticks. Commodity celery is steady out of Arizona with lighter supplies from CA. Supply should improve in the second half of March. See Celery availability.
cauliflower
The Cauliflower market has slowed down with volatile availability expected to last for the next week or so before improving. Quality is fair to good. You can find organic product on The Marketplace loading out of Salinas, CA. See Cauliflower availability.
LEMON
California growers are reporting a strong supply of Lemons in all 3 growing regions in CA (Coastal, Central Valley, Desert). Volumes should remain steady through April with supply starting to trickle off by the end of May. California will be back with a strong supply in the fall. Out of Mexico, supply is expected to ramp up starting in mid-May. Limited juice volume is predicted at the beginning of the season, with the majority of growers ramping up in August/September. We recommend purchasing lemons in the next 6-8 weeks while California is still producing high volumes to avoid higher pricing when California trickles off and Mexico is just getting started. See Lemon availability.

Ginger
This is the low season for ginger, with limited availability across the board. There is some supply available of Peruvian and Mexican ginger needing at least a 1-3 week lead time. You can expect the market to continue to be tight until the Summer, when availability and pricing should improve. See Ginger availability.
Grapefruit
Out of California, conventional and organic grapefruit supply should remain steady for the next 6 - 8 weeks. The Mexican season is winding down and will finish up by the middle of March before starting up again in September. California is peaking on smaller sizes, while Mexico is peaking on larger-sized fruit. With the Mexican season close to over, you can expect California supply to tighten and prices to increase. See Grapefruit availability.
Orange
Mexican growers have fully transitioned into true Valencias. The fresh market demand has been very slow for the last three weeks on both Conventional & Organics, causing growers to slow down harvests until pricing and demand improve. The Mexican season was originally estimated to end in April but is now likely to last through mid-May due to the harvest slowing down. California Navel supply out of the Central Valley & Southern Coastal regions is steady for both organic and conventional product. However, we expect availability to start diminishing as we approach the end of March and the beginning of April. The season will finish by the 2nd week of April. The crop is expected to end earlier than usual due to an industry-wide crop shortage this year. Normally, the California Navel supply will last until June. See Orange availability.

CARROTS
The major carrot growing regions are in transition from the San Joaquin Valley to the Imperial Valley, causing limited supplies of jumbos. Supplies are expected to get better when size increases in March. See Carrot availability.
CELERY
Value-added celery, like sticks, is limited as demand is greater than supply due to capacity constraints. Whole celery has steady availability at this time. Supplies should increase around March. See Celery availability.
cabbage
Cabbage supply has been affected by some insect presence in the desert region of California recently. Specifically, organic cabbage is showing some damage from Aphids infestation. Pricing remains on the higher end at this time.
See Marketplace availability.

Lemon
There is a strong supply of conventional and organic lemons in all three California growing regions (Coastal, Central Valley, and Desert). Lemons out of the California desert are predicted to yield more juice-grade volume due to a “rougher” crop this year. Mexico finished its lemon season in December and should start up again at the end of August or early September. We expect California’s supply will remain steady for the foreseeable future; no major gaps on the horizon. See Lemon availability.
grapefruit
Grapefruit supply out of California is steady for organic and conventional, although it is getting tighter for organic product. The Mexican season is close to wrapping up at the end of this month, resulting in tightened supply. California is peaking on smaller sizes (56ct - 72ct), while Mexican is peaking on the larger sizes. With the Mexican season winding down, we expect demand to shift towards California, resulting in higher prices and tightening supply over the next few weeks. See Grapefruit availability.
cabbage
Growers are reporting a solid supply of conventional and organic green, red, and napa cabbage at this time. Pricing is currently higher across all varieties, but we have some good deals on organic red and green cabbage out of California.
See Cabbage availability.
